H. D. Brock is the managing shareholder in Whittington, Brock & Swayze, P.A. He has practiced with the firm since completing his legal education in January of 1968. He has been actively engaged in civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial transactions and real estate. He has extensive experience in cooperative law and has lectured at the request of the Delta Counsel on a number of occasions on matters involving absentee landowners in the field of agriculture. He represents in excess of 200 business corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships and has been actively engaged directly and as an advisor in numerous corporate mergers and business acquisitions.

Charles J. Swayze, Jr. is a shareholder in Whittington, Brock & Swayze, P.A. He has the experience as a lawyer in civil and criminal litigation, commercial transactions, financial services litigation, real estate and agricultural law with emphasis on cotton disputes. He has taught business law at Mississippi Valley State University and Trial Advocacy at the University of Mississippi Law School. He has made various classroom presentations at Mississippi College School of Law and participated in various Mississippi Bar seminars on mediation and arbitration. He has served as a mediator in approximately over 100 cases, has been engaged as an arbitrator in approximately 100 cases and has been appointed by different courts as a special master in approximately 12 circuit and chancery court cases. Also, having been appointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court, Mr. Swayze has served as Special Circuit Judge for Jackson County in Katrina-related cases.

CHARLES J. SWAYZE III

Charles J. Swayze III is an associate with Whittington, Brock & Swayze, P.A. He has the experience as a lawyer in civil and criminal litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, trucking litigation, commercial transactions, financial services litigation, real estate law, Social Security Disability law, domestic relations, and worker's compensation. He has experience in jury trials, bench trials and administrative law hearings. He is currently prosecutor for the City of Greenwood and has prosecuted numerous cases in Municipal Court and County Court. Appointed by the Chancery Court of Leflore County, Mississippi, Mr. Swayze serves as Family Master in Chancery Court for Leflore County, Mississippi.
